Yes, Fiery SW RIP Solutions processes PDF and PostScript (PS) files. It enables the proper handling of industry-standard files without any operational concerns and significantly improves the accuracy and quality of many output jobs.
Fiery Software RIP usually calls for Windows 10 or later (64-bit operating system required), an Intel Core i5 or better processor, 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended), and a minimum of 500GB available disk space. A discrete video card (GPU) and a reliable network connection are also recommended.
To install Fiery software RIP, the first step is to download the installer from Fiery or the appropriate vendor's website. Open the installer package (installer or EXE file) and follow instructions in dialog boxes until the end of the setup. When prompted, enter your license key. After completion, you may configure your printer connection and preferences before producing your first job.
Fiery Software RIP supports a broad range of digital printers and brands from Canon, Epson, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, HP, etc. As each Fiery version has different levels of compatibility, it is always important to check to see if your printer is supported while using the printer support list for the RIP package that you are using.
